Jennifer Walsh
AIKR Lab & Institute, Founder and Creative Director
A 26-year serial beauty and wellness entrepreneur, Jennifer Walsh, has been a true architect of the beauty landscape. Creating Beauty Bar, the first omnichannel beauty brand in the US, changed the way people shopped for beauty until she sold the company in 2010. Jennifer intuitively knew that the connection to the beauty industry was always deeply rooted in its connection to nature. In 2017, Jennifer began studying nature's impact on the brain and body and is now an advisor to the U Penn Center for Neuroaesthetics as well as the Brain Health Initiative―a working lab under Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital. Her company AIKR Lab’s initiatives serve as a call to action, bringing the public's attention to the health benefits of being in and around nature. AIKR Lab integrates nonpartisan, scientific, fact-based research and analysis with public education centered around the benefits of being outside and incorporating nature into our homes, businesses, and schools through the implementation of biophilic design. You can also find Ms. Walsh leading mindfulness and wellness walks daily in Central Park for corporate and private clients.
